Arrest warrant issued against Sonko

Makadara MP Gedion Mbuvi alias Sonko is a wanted man. A warrant of arrest has finally been issued against the MP following the traffic drama involving him and his guards yesterday. The city council is accusing the legislator of malicious damage to property after he reportedly ordered his bodyguards to break a wheel clamp placed on his car. And as NTV's Vincent Oduor reports, Sonko says he has no apologies to make.

The City Council parking attendants, like disco door-stewards, must involve the Police if they must interfere with the property and fundamental freedom of Kenyans in the course of enforcing their bylaws.
