Happy Gerbils in their gerbilarium

Built this gerbilarium for my daughter on saturday, a scrap fish tank, old glass shelves from last cage, polycarb lid from a robot arena, coffee table from the tip.........great fun watching the Gerbs enjoying it.

Those branches are available from an aquarium shop. They are bog wood. They cost a bit, but look good.

@wolverine1865 I just got a couple for my kids . They are both male and they are very sweet and don't bite . Of course most animals have there own personality . Theres always the chance youll get a get one that bites . Just keep your receit from the store in case it doesn't work out .

what are gerbils like. i mean can you handle them or will they try to bite you if you do. i had some when i was like 3, but of course i cant rememeber what they were like

the radiation from the heater could kill your gerbils so be careful

never use wheels for gerbils :( the tail can get stuck while they are running in it and break of
