VERY URGENT – Babar Ahmad was beaten up by the British police when he was arrested and they abused Islam and Allah whilst he was being detained. He is the longest detained without trial British citizen, now in his eighth year behind bars fighting against extradition to the US. We need 100,000 signatures by 10/11/11 and Parliament will debate putting Babar on trial in the UK where he is more likely to get a fair trial. Visit freebabarahmad website for the link. Please spread.
What or Who is a Muadhin?

Muadhin is the person who calls to prayer, you can hear that call by typing "Athan" on the search...and the Muathin in this nasheed is referring to Bilal, who was the first caller to prayer for muslims at the time of the prophet (pbuh).

@duranali Your reply is correct, but in Islam, it is actually prohibited to write peace be upon him as an abbreviation of pbuh after the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him's name. The same ruling applies when writing SAW (Sallallahu Alayhe Wasallam (Peace be upon him in Arabic))

Actually some scholars say that you don't even have to write (peace be upon him) or (Salalahu alayhi wasalam), just say it on your head. That fatwa is in islamqa website,
but thanks for the reminder :)
