This is such a beautiful interpretation of DeBussy's Reverie. I and such a great private recording. Piano solos, (even the poster of this video did not personally record it as disclosed above), are very difficult to record. This feels and sounds very much like I am listening to a live performance by Francois-Joël Thiollier. Thank you so much!

@bluesborn Prescient. I had a music history teacher in college--also a prominent conductor for the Ventura county, CA symphony--say that there were three truly great innovators in classical music that, rather than being derivative, initiated trends and influences, pioneer types if you will: One was Debussy, another was Bach, and another was-- I want to say Mozart, but I forget.

Thiollier's tone pallet paints gorgeous and lingering sounds, indeed. And he is a real pedal artist, too. Thanks for the posting.
