@psyonicB What would the world look like without religion?? There would have been no "dark ages" which stifled intellectual progress for centuries. We would be far more advanced today than we already are, We probably would have colonized the colonize-able planets. Why do you christians still quote from the OT? Jesus came to uphold the laws not destroy them. If Jesus is god ,he is the same evil babykiller we read about in the OT. @DarkBeauty1989 First of all, killing is a sin and so is homosexuality. Leviticus was written for the times. Man wrote it at a time when Moses led the Exodus back into Cannan. Inspiration of "man" and his interpretation led to some controversial issues that u atheists deem hateful. Why aren't u reading the new testament? You amazing atheists are fixated on the old testment and take every word literally. Why not scripture? Didn't Jesus say Matthew 5:39 and 5:43-44. Gotta go!!

@xtroxtro1 u cant blame atheism for that when it is not a moral code. They did that on their own accord. If a christian uses LEV 20:13 to justify killing gays(in Uganda) then we can blame both the bible and the person. Nonchristians have morals . Bible is full of immoral stuff like killing babies,killing gays,polygamy,incest(Abraham and his half sister),slavery ,rape,mass murder,and the list goes on . It is not us that is immoral . Christians can sin all they want cause Jesus payed the price.

No I wouldn't because the scientific evidence for a global flood is overwhelming. Eg. the fossil record, clams on Mount Everest, the fact that the entire earth is covered in sedimentary rock laid down by water. If the Bible didn't claim a global flood, I would - unless I were an atheist trying to deny the existence of God to avoid eternal punishment.
