Both the W and V run til 11pm and it makes all stops...if the W didn't exist the N would still run local via Broadway which is annoying and if the V didn't exist the F wouldn't have ran via 63rd Street which is better b/c 53rd Street was always a huge headache!

Trust me its not a waste and the reason they rid of the 9 was b/c stupid ass complaining ppl kept complaining the 9 train skipped their station knowing it was a skip-stop service like the Z and sometimes the 1 train took a while to come!

to me the R46s look better on the F than the V..now i know i gotta avoid R42 and R32s during the summer

No they don't look better on the F....the only thing the R-46's have is speed and thats it. I'll rather ride the R-32 or R-40M/R42 anyday over the R-46's!
