I'm with the mighty bling. The French and British did create MORE things than the Americans and were pioneers of the world.
PS u Americans r from the UK originally.

I wish I could have flown Concorde at least one time :(

@LandRoverWay23 Listen FOOL, we didnt need to recruit scum, WE were the benchmark USA was trying to equal, we gave you the A-bomb your first jet engine + first supersonic airframe, gve you RADAR + trained you crack troops (Rangers) in WW2 period. Our teeth are not perfect because they are REAL, yours are plastic crowns caps + laminates, FALSElike America = WTF is an American? The WWWeb + the computer your using + language your typing in, who gave yo that THE BRITISH you idiot.
-
@TheMightyBlighty And yet, your Brit scientist still cant fix your crooked teeth. Ours (US) did. The crooked teeth, I mean the Brits, were to dumb to realize England should recruit intelligent ex Nazi scientist. The US were smart enough to pick them up and that's why the US is the most technologically advanced nation in the world. Oh... you have something stuck between your teeth... no you missed it... the other side... just push it towards the gap.
-
@TheMightyBlighty no. the US didn't build one because they didn't have an equivalent, there were lots of reasons why US/Boeing scrapped their SST. LOL, "Do research no claim knowledge."

@torin312 First the Battle of Trafalgar and now this!

ATC Tower: Concorde flight AF8832, you're cleared to land on runway 27L
Concorde: Roger that, ATC, 50ft till touch down
ATC Tower: Just to inform you, your mother in law is here.
Concorde: SHIT! SHIT! ABORT LANDING!

@Burbclaver The Concorde was *not* noisier than the other airliners of the time. Reference: "Flying Concorde, The Full Story" by Brian Calvert

bloody french cant even land a plane in a crosswind this is typical french cowardness
and yes son... in the 70´s and 80´s there was an aircraft can take you to NY to London in less than 3 hours...
and now daddy?... well in 2011 you need about 12 hours and plus 4 hours more to they check you´re not a potential hijacker...

7.5 hrs to fly from London(Gatwick) to Boston(Logan) in 747 in 1999, add 35 mins to 2 hrs for pre-check-in time; most of which being spent in lounge getting drunk.
Now? Don't know. Won't lower myself to being treated as a 'potential terrorist' by American aircraft staff raking through my stuff, half-undressed, made to take off shoes, spoken to like shit just to fly on public transport to their hate-mongering, anti-freedom, 3rd world, debt-ridden cunt-ry!
What was the question again? LOL
