Lastly never let us Christians be the factor in whether or not you believe in God. Sit down and search the scripture for yourself because we all have character flaws to some degree. If you are looking for God seek him first and then seek guidance from others. And if what guidance you find doesn't sit well with you then seek God again. God Bless you young man.

As for the scripture you quoted about women teaching it's 1 Tim 2:11-12 which was written by Paul. Now the bible was inspired by God . . . nowhere in that entire scripture did Paul say God suffer not a woman to teach, 1 Timothy 2:12 "But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." This leads me to believe that these are Paul's feelings not God's. He never said God said or Jesus said, but " I " suffer not a woman to teach.

The bible tells us as Christians to spread the word of God to others and if they receive us that's great, but if not move on. God gave each and every single one of us free will, a choice to decide. I'm lost as to why she would rejoice over the death of thousands of people . . .

I totally agree with you. I don't mind people who are religious but a lot of things don't make sense. You see, I'm gay and I have been told many many times that God hates gay people, so I ask " If God loves everyone and God is forgiving, how does he hate Gays?" they say he hates the sin but if he's forgiving, how can he hate sin? He's forgiving..Just thought I'd get that off my chest too.

i agree with you. as for MY religion, i'm confused. i went to a catholic school from 1st to 7th grade, and was constantly taught things about god. my family never went to church or talked about god, though, but still believed. i, on the other hand, don't know what to believe. i don't think i should call myself catholic (even though i'm baptized), but i don't know if i'm an atheist either. religion has one way of telling how the world started, and science has another. the whole thing confuses me.

Hey dude. I completely agree that what that woman said was extremely inappropriate. You have to realize that there are extremists of all "religious" sects. Even atheism. So don't point the finger at theists, just because one woman was "trolling"
