She was an exceptional talent for the artists of the time. I think probably the only reason "Feel It" wasn't a stateside hit was its timing. Parent album "In Love" was released in 1980, when the disco backlash had gained serious momentum. What I love about listening to this song in 2011 is that because it hasn't been overexposed, it is so evocative of that time in music (and in my life). Thank you for posting this classic.

I ordered the Japanese import of this CD late last week. I can't wait until it shows up. It's my favorite Cheryl Lynn album. You can tell she's having a blast.

I really miss these days, the music was so, so damn fine. There was such a good feeling of hope in the U.K. driven by the music. I really felt like all the racist crap was behind us, now look at us. All counting money with britney spears clones and pubescent boy-bands whining out of the radio . Where's my time machine? I want my funky disco back! Brothers Johnson, Heatwave, Earth Wind and Fire, come back! I hate it here!
