i rely like these vids because they are so easy to follow. the fact im new to photoshop also, helps my computer and any other nearby object getting hurt when it wont do what i want

make sure you're working on the right layer. I mean check the channel column ;)

could not complete the Hue/Saturation command because selected area is empty?????

what do you do when you go on hue ans sat but then it goes could not co,complete because hue/saturation command cuz selected area is empty..;s

Make sure you're on the layer that contains the eye.
