Thanks buddy. :-)

Not sure about 5x5x5. Check out speedcubing dot com for a good 4x4x4 solution that I use. Click on Chris Hardwick's Corner at the top, and scroll down to "Beginner/Intermediate solution to the Rubik's Revenge".

Woops. My mistake!
It turned out that I had forgot to do the second part of Step 4. By not solving the last 2 edges I think I have arrived at this seemingly impossible situation.
By the way, your website and videos are amazing. I've learned everything about Rubik's Cube from them.
Also, do you know solving strategies for 4x4x4 or 5x5x5 cubes?

Could you take a screenshot or a photo of the cube in that position (maybe 2 photos showing all 6 sides) and send it to me? My email address is on my website.

I don't think it's an impossible position. I found myself in the same situation that 0kkin describes while playing an Online virtual Rubik's Cube, so it can't be incorrectly assembled or anything.
All the same, I am stuck in this position. Any ideas?

No, you just need to freely turn the U face so that one of the other pieces (not the corner piece that needs to go in the DBR spot) starts out in the UFL position.
-
Well the cube isn't entirely correct, the 3 corner pieces on the U face that are positioned correctly aren't properly oriented. i hope this doesn't mean i still have to disassemble the cube =/

It sounds like you're describing a situation where your entire cube is correct, except for one U face corner piece and the DBR piece that are incorrect, and they need swapping? If so, this is an impossible position and your cube will need to be disassembled and assembled correctly. I have a video on how to do that if you haven't done it before.
Hey jeaysm, I'm using this step to solve a 2x2 cube of a Gundam head my friend has, but I keep getting 2 sides that just don't want to end up in the right place. Is this broken, or is it a property of the 2x2? In this case it is 2 opposite corners. Got a solution?

Sure, hold the cube so that one of the correct top layer corner pieces is in UFR (so the incorrect corners are UFL and UBR) and do: L' U R U' L U R' U'. Then turn the cube that the correct corner piece (there should only one) is in the UFR position and do U R U' L' U R' U' L. This should put them all in the right spot so you can rotate the corner pieces.
