i fucking hate this movie. it puts a stereotype on self-harmers the way dawns rocks back and forth when she cuts and how she does that twwitchy eyebrow thing. this movie make self-harmers seem crazyand sycho when in reality its not like that at all.

OMG.. When the dad started rolling up his sleeve, i started crying.. It's so sad.. He doesn't know how to talk to her.. He feels awkward around her and doesn't know why she's cutting HERSELF. It's really sad.. He feels she's cutting herself coz she has no one to cut, and offers his arm.. He'd rather take the pain than have his daughter suffer.
He cares about her. A lot. He just doesn't know how to express it. I pity him for his lack of expression and I pity Dawn for not realizing that.
