it's not about who was better then whom. that would be like comparing two fruits. apple and an orange. some people prefer the apple, some the orange. that doesn't make one better than the other, it all comes down to the preferance of the taster. the only thing we can say for sure is that both gorey and burton are wonderful.

This is, oh so very, splendid...it makes me feel all weird inside...ha, he was awesome. i will definitely buy this documentary if, of course, it is ever available to me...can't wait!

Wow, love this so much! It's awesome to see Gorey at work, and to hear him talk.

The puppet show's also great - the part at 2:32 where the guy in black sort of pats Henry and leans over to look at him is hilarious.

Tim Burton has openly admitted that Ted Gorey was a major influence/inspiration for most of his work and artistic style....
