Greater Glider

Over the last twelve years out spotlighting, I have only sighted seven of these gliders. This is the best viewing I have had to date. The bugs were giving him a hard time! Its main predator is the Powerful Owl and the Feral Cat. Has one young per year and weighs between 1600 grams in Victoria to 600 grams in North Queensland. Color varies from dark brown to black.

Great vid. I just saw my first Greater Glider night before last under similar circumstances. But my two just sat there looking dazzled for ages. Yours is very animated! Did you see it glide at all?
