How old are your fossils?

The link here is to a short video (39 s) that I filmed on March 17th 2007 at the Emerald Isle, NC St. Patty's Day Festival. A man named Erin Hughes was there with a booth advertising "Free Dinosaur Flash Cards" and a book that provides "The History of the Universe" - the Bible, of course. In the video, which is an interview with Mr. Hughes, I ask what is the age of his fossil shark's teeth on display, which he found in a location near Emerald Isle, NC at 35' below the surface where his buddy was digging a bass pond. He answers that they are 4500 years old, laid down during Noah's Flood. He says that because "...there was no tag on them..." when they were dug up, so "...I had to make my own pre-supposition and have my own ideas about what I think ..." about their age, concluding that they were 4500 years old. His evidence is that he assumes the account in Genesis in the Bible is correct and must be used to age all fossils. His pre-supposition does not allow the fossils to be any older than that. (I guess they could be younger than that, but he doesn't say how he determined that they were 4500 and not, say, 45 years old). Similar shark's teeth from Eastern NC have been aged as Pliocene (2 - 6 mybp, or million years before present) or Miocene (6-27 mybp).

I have debated many evolutionist and athist.

and what i have found that they attack people

and thier beliefs (as shown here) rather than present their own "facts" for subject for debate. ck out Maluina Lak of the Univeristy of Rennes in France study of Translucent Amber pics of insects "100 million yrs old"

but there is no change in the insects found there. futher more if an insect cant change in 100 million years how long does it take. thats a hell of alot of environmental change

Well, you could start with almost any biology book. Or, where I started, read: "On the origin of species" by Charles Darwin. If you only read the Bible, you willonly get one answer -- ever.

Since the bible has all the answers, why can't I find anything in it about quantum theory or even how my cellphone works?

It doesn't say much about string theory or black holes either.

But it does say lots about rape, child & gang-rape, abortion, murder, slavery, and other nasty things.

Seems god has his little hobbies.

But science isn't one of them!

By the way I was being sarcastic of course there are no references because the dinosaurs died out at least 65 million years before the human race evolved.

How come there are no references to dinosaurs in ancient art? Aka the ancient egyptians? The ancient civilizations recorded all aspects of their lives so dinosaurs would have featured right net to the oxen, sheep, baboons camels the list goes on. I guess these civilizations came after the flood?

@SLMF: Is that the depth and breath of your argument? If so, it's irrelevant. It's not the amount of time that is required for fossilization, nor for oil to form. It's the geologic context in which these elements are found. Perhaps at one time you might have been able to say it's circular thinking. However, modern radioisotope dating methods disprove that with great accuracy. And dendrochronolgy alone shows an earth aged in excess of the genesis account.

Some Christians attack people who believe in evolution too. Both of us (Christians and non Christians) do it. I believe in evolution, but i wouldn't verbally attack anyone who disagrees with my point of view.

I'm a Christian, (and currently a young earth creationist), but i guess the guy was a bit nervous (considering might be consider quite a intellectually/socially confrontational situation) and so i guess why He made that point of what he believed very quickly and didn't think of saying any younger.
