Secretariat and Ruffian, what a race that would be

@jdjuliann great horse, ruffian smashed track and stakes records in every race she ran, she even beat secretariats and man o wars and a whole lot of other champions records aswel, all of ruffians times and records are still untouched except for her mother goose... ruffian was a true champion aswel! and she only completed 10 races did all that in just 10 races, and was the only undefeated 3 yrold in the country in her time..

because foolish pleasure had only been beaten 2 times by other colts in the time the match race happened ruffian would have dominated the colts by "lengths"

All great horses here. But does anyone really realize the feat Secretariat did in the 3 big TC races & we way he did it? No horse before or after never has even come close to his amazing feats. Coming from last, going wide, going each quarter faster than the previous in record time. From last again to blow the doors "so to speak" off the other horses in the preakness. Everyone knows the real time there. Don't need to even mention the awesome Belmont performance. A notch above the rest IMO.
