Bracket day @ Rock Falls Raceway 12 October 2008

I took my 1991 Trans am GTA and a friend took his 1995 Trans am LT1 to the track for the first time. Both cars are pretty much stock. Once I figured out my lauch I got her down to a 14.54 @ 93 mph. My buddy surprised me with a best time of 13.8 @ 98 mph.

I never ran it past 120. I hadmy 87 GTA with a 305 upto 135 with some gear left. I'm sure this would do over 140 but I never tried it. I have now sold the car and went old school with a 1969 Buick Skylark. I'll check out your ride after writing this. Thanks for the comment!

I was waiting for the first senseless comment like this. For being stock I'm happy with my time. I'm sure your civic isn't stock at all. Let me get some stuff done to her as I restore her and then I should be able to give you a run for the money, that is if you have the car you claim to. It would be nice to see some video's on your channel to back up your claim. If its true, thats awesome! If it isn't true, well then what you said is a worthless comment.

Right on, thanks for posting your vids! I just parked for 91 TA today for a long winters nap(I live in Canada). Your video's will keep me going until Spring!

I race mine as well for shits n giggles and my personal best is 15.5 at 89 MPH with 2.4 60ft. Keep in mind that I live in Calgary, AB where track elevation is over 3400ft. The day I raced the DA was just under 5 grand. I should also mention that I've got a 305 with a 700r4 and 2.73's in the rear.

Nice car. I had a 93 once and now own an 86. The third gens are definitely my favorite Trans Ams.

when my 87 gta was stock i was runnin 13.8s at rock falls aka (slippery falls) is the gta a 5 speed cause that would explain it
