hmm idk. i always had betta fish and i just kept them in a decent sized fish bowl ( betta fish dont move toooo much so i just got a bowl) and fed them those round pellet things. sometimes i would forget to feed him for days and he lived like 3 years. and i think u can find stuff at like petsmart or other pet stores for dropsy.
dude i only had 2 bettas my whole life and 1 died of dropsy...he is in my video that says "male betta tankmates" i was so sad because he lived for over 3 1/2 years....i thought dropsy was rare but then i noticed dropsy is the most common killer of bettas...idk man, it just happens, i dont think there's a cure =(..but he was fine in his 1.25 gal. then when i put him in my 20 gallon he was fine until maybe 2-3 weeks, idk if it was the water quality or watever, all my cory cats survived however
I have a betta once. He was fat. I thought he was fat but he had dropsy. I think bettas are vurnerable to this disease. 3 bettas that i owned were killed because of dropsy. Any help?
they look very pale and sick i had tiger barbs that would stand still like that in the tank later they all died..found out the ammonia and nitrites in my tank where to high i had never even heard of the nitrogen cycle before but i know about now and my water is clean and safe =)...Those died didnt they?
