No this doesn't sound right to answer your question. Hell is GOD burning you... not satan. Hell is made for satan to burn. True love must hate... because it must hate what oppresses love and that is evil. Love must hate what is evil. You cannot say, I love my brother, but I love when people beat the crap out of him.... That is a contradiction in love. So God must hate that second part and destroy it.

@theNewCovenantGroup If you are non-repentant, then certainly love will keep record. If a man rapes your wife and then kills her and video tapes and sends it to you... tell me.... if this man in the end is unrepentant... is it loving to let him go? In other words, evil oppresses love.

First of all, Jesus never talked about "hell", but unfortunately, hell, unicorns, and satyrs still remain in English translations. Second of all, to argue that God created an eternal-torture chamber for His created children that was/is much more painful, abusive, terrorizing, maniacal, and sadistic than Adolf Hitler's torture chambers, methods, and practices...is the kind of craziness you should want to rethink. Torture-chamber-making Fathers make bad fathers look good.

THIS is the real church "WORD" As a Mental Health Counselor, I can tell you that the concept of HELL is the largest source of mental problems that I have ever seen. @frankherman3 look up the word hell in Mat 5-7 in your concordance. what does it say? Ill save you the trouble. hell is translated from the greek word Gehenna (G1067). Gehenna was a garbage dump outside Jeursalem & is there to this very day (its now a lovely park) By what scriptural authority is the proper noun Gehenna translated as "hell"? when Jesus spoke those words he was warning against continuing in sin that could lead to your execution and diposal in the dump - common place in that time
