@Nickiller6969 Lol yeh made an impact on my decision seeing it takes 5 mins and a screwy to unrestrict it :) Been riding for 3 years but due to work and other life crap had to go through the L's again. Had a 07' GS500 but traded it in for the 650rl.

@Nickiller6969 That's a ripoff :O If it's that expensive i will fit them myself lol

@twinsofsparda I'm currently a bit in pain but its all right thanks;) at least I didnt break any bones (hopefully) or destroyed my bike

@LuxembourgOn2Wheels Hehe glad I pursuaded you, good decision for sure. The fitting may be costly because they might charge you about 100-200 euro's to fit it on your bike...

Sorry to see you crashed out there. Glad you are OK and the sliders did their job properly. What a shame they won't let you carry an on board camera. Cheers!!!

@TKTex1 I was kinda happy my first crash was on the racetrack and not on a public road full of cagers actually!! I'm also so amazed how my bike is fine after the high speed crash :D I really improved my riding skills and now I know how fast I can go max in corners. Next time you planning to go there, lemme know!

@Nickiller6969 Thanks for that, I sure will let you know, it would be great to do a meet up.
Question: Are you using Oggy Knobs? The ones on my Hornet are ring-ins made by the first owner of my bike and I'm concerned they might not be structurally sound (the bolts were rusted when I took them off the engine brackets and put them on the frame). Would appreciate your advice on how your sliders performed and any other feedback. Cheers mate.

@TKTex1 Yep I have Oggy Knobs installed on my bike, they were pretty damn hard to install and no you shouldn't fit them to the engine! I have been told that if you're a racer they may cause even more damage to your bike because at high speeds the crash knob can dig into something (a ripple strip on the track, or deviation in the road) and flip the bike, doubling the crash damage. So I believe that in a low speed crash or even a fall in the garage for example, they easily pay for themselves:)
