Which STAR is this?
Also I would love to see a flight liek this, but split screen with PFD

woo hah lol. quite an active landing. great video of how well these pilots work to get these jets down!!
-
Looks like bad weather's approaching ..

Yup, unmistakably a 737. Probably one of the NG's given the new style callout options..."approaching 27L"
-
Or perhaps I am just seeing things.

Looks like they had you slowed up pretty far back. Is that normal for EGLL?

Depends on the weather and what ATC allows. If the weather is good enough for visual approaches ATC may assign or pilots may request visual approaches. But, they can still fly ILS approaches on a bright sunny day if they wish. It is easier if using the autopilot. If flying in less restrictive environments like class D or E airspace as the pilot enteres visual conditions they have the option of cancelling their IFR clearance and fly visually any time they wish.

Depending on what the ATC gives them i guess,
Great Video ! Is it me, or can you make out the impact zones and "tyre trails" of the downed 777 in the news today ?

Well, if you are talking of the B777 accident, that was 2 years ago, yes, u can see the tyre trails. You can even see the wreckage at 9:13 in the right corner next to the hangar.
