Cool- you should be able to get replacement berings for the wheels easily. Id keep the stock parts and wouldnt mod it too heavily if y ever want to go back to stock.

Northern tools has weld on spindle sets - i bot a left n right for my wheelhorse- im using a stock MTD front axle n hack the ends off- im debating on making it adjustable or not.

@dangeroustoys56 i dont really wanna go back to stock, recently the belt would pop off, or the chain. i could get the belt to stay on but the chain would come off. or the chain would be good but the belt would come off, ill keep the stock parts but i probably wont go back to stock. i think ill put the vert 5hp on another tractor i got sitting in my powermech room

I had an old Penncraft mower about that size, same setup with the tranny and everything. I was going to take the 5hp Honda I have with a go kart clutch and run it straight to the axle, since it had a sprocket on it. Would have been a fun little project, but I traded it for a 1980s Cub Cadet 1215 and a newer fancy hi tech cub with rust and no engine. the 1215 is nice and I am going to make a vid about it.

@yamaharules163 : Well- reason i say it is it looks like a rare tractor ( Ive never herd of one in the almost 18 years of tinkering on tractors) - years from now if you want to restore it , then youll be able to. I was like that with my 70 toro- i beat the crap out of that thing when i first had it running , but now id like to somewhat restore it and make it a mower again- wont be original , but close.

@CSAKvids : yeah you can run a go kart clutch at any angle- im gonna use one on my wizard project.
