These people in West Virginia are the sweetest people I have ever met. It is a real slap in their faces to say that over 150 people actually saw a large owl or a crane back in the 60's. Most of these people have lived in the mountains all their lives. They are very familiar with all the animals that live in the mountains. Many are avid hunters. The few witnesses that were willing to openly talk about their experience clearly stated this thing was like nothing they had ever seen before.

Simple yet hard to accept explanations: demon or a mutant owl (it's an old army base; maybe they could've been experimenting and made a monster.)
