Well Rin was dating Asa before he knew she was dying and that only he could save her so to say Rin only dated Asa because she didn't want her to die, is not really an accurate statement. I have played the game and have gotten all of the good endings and I must say each of the endings had their own special feel to them. However my favorite of the heroines without a doubt is Nerine.

watched the anime... was pissed kaede shoulda been the person he fell for... she was always there supporting him making sure he is ok... sure asa was dying and needed help but he didn't need to date her sheesh. anywho def gonna try the game out thanks!

@KillOutFlamePrdctns What most people don't know, is that the Kaede "freak out" scene isn't in the visual novel. If you choose Asa, Kaede is depressed, but accepts it. I guess they were trying to make it more interesting for the anime.
