all you guys need to lighten up on this guy. This crossing was made look easy on another video with a f-250 powerstroke on 54's. Now seeing 44's get stuck explains just how hard this crossing is. Lets see you guys with your 35's and f/r lockers that get you out of your local holes do that shit.

Fun to see how many here think they can do better by just watching the video. Watching a video on a display is one thing, driving the car in this river is another thing, trust me :-)

so i noticed you just lift it enough so you can cut it and get big tires on them. That because you can only go so big and i guess its more stable lower. But i guess your still gettin the same ground clearance with a 40 inch tire lifted truck no metter how much you lift its still on 40's i was just wonderin on why every video of ice land has trucks lifted with massive tires that you could go another foot to fith them

@quadit321. The icelandic experience of modifying trucks is to lift the truck as little as possible. That way you get better driving skills on the car, it is easyer to go in and out of (most of the trucks are for every day use), they are better in sidehill driving (lower center of gravity) and more. There are also laws on how you can modify a truck in Iceland if you want to make it road legal, for example ground clearence to rear bumber, hight to headlamps and many more.

Patrols on 44 inch tires are for example on limit with hight to headlamps. If you would lift the Patrol one inch more you will need to put new and lower headlamps on it!
In Iceland too much lift is considered a bad modifycation and we think that it damages the driving skills and the look of the car. So we don't like the american way of lifting the car to the sky. That is why all trucks in Iceland are modified the same way with as little lift as possible.
