It did stand. The rule is that you have to have flicked the player before the whistle. Once he is moving it doesn't matter whether the whistle goes before the ball goes into the net.

@MatriXtyle The rules for shooting are you have to be inside the shooting zone, the last line be before the penalty box.
Although this is not the issue here it whether the ball crosses the goal line before the halftime whistle or not.

Did the "goal" stand ? was very close,having watched it a couple of times i would say no.
But hope it did.
