No Problem! (CH4, 1983-85) "drew its cast and creators from the Black Theatre Co-operative, and concerned the livers of teenage and twenty something Powell kids, left to fend for themselves in a council house" in Willesden, NW London after their parents have made the smart move and returned to Jamaica. Originally broadcast in 1982 on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom that's way before the channel was dumb down and taken over by supremacists, this was the forerunner to the popular Black British comedy "Desmond's".

No Problem features two Lover's Rock legends Janet Kay (Angel) and Victor Romeo Evans (Bellamy). In this episode "Beast" played by Malcolm Fredericks opens a brand new nightclub called 'Diana'. Kid Creole (aka August Darnell) of Kid Creole and the Coconuts makes a special guest appearance. Episode: The Club: Part 1.

  • Beest is a real beast, innit?

  • 3:54 LMAO

  • Watching it after all these years it's a bit of a shock to see such well rounded characterisation compared to the way that we are portrayed by Tv these days, as little more than shopping machines that listen to R&B.

Channel 4 has gone well down hill.
