I love how he just gives away all this free candy...then when Charlie starts chowing down on one chocolate bar before getting the ticket, he keeps clearing his throat for the money.

@NicholasJamesLu Don't be ridiculous. As kids, we never thought anything so ludicrous (back in the 70s). I'm surprised this statement got so many thumbs-up. Just illustrates how 2day's generation are influenced by a different social age. Can a shop owner not be cheerful, courteous & entertaining to the kids, without being accused of something? It wouldn't've been worth screening, would it, if he'd been an ignorant slob - simply taking the money off the kids, & sayin nothing.

@wweevolutionfan101 They're sugar "Dots." They're kind of weird tasting, but they're a classic. Not a fruit snack at all. You can still get a huge pack of them for a dollar. Try them sometime!
