@bellyman128 HELL to the no. You can actually differentiate between Dan's guitar solos. Syn's are just a chromatic, bled-together, mess... played really fast.

Synyster gates is good but alot of his solos sound the same to me not gunna lie avenged sevenfold is a fucking amazing band and syn is a beastly guitarist but to me Dan just has like a different sound in his solos too me at least

It's awesome how you really don't have to have a PHD in music theory to be amazing at guitar. If you have an imagination, a drive, and love for the instrument, that's enough. Granted, basic knowledge of how music works makes things easier, but that comes with experience anyways.
