  • @vidform A pinch of chorus, then drenched in reverb, and using the doubling effect on the voices (either two-tracking tow separate takes of her vocals, or recording one track, and then doubling it up). I think that's what's at work here. It does sound full and airy.

  • @vidform a pretty bright and full reverb with a pretty short attack, i guess

  • @vidform From 'From Sauce to Sorcery. The Saga of The Rahgoos and Gandalf': "The band had acquired a Binson Echorec, a tape echo unit which they employed extensively. Mike Esposito of fellow Night Owl habituees the Blue Magoos used a similar device for lead guitar with dazzling results, but the Rahgoos (Gandalf) went further, often running the vocals through it to give Peter's vocals an eerie, disembodied quality."

  • so good ! thank you for posting xx

  • FUCKING LOVE IT!!

  • good stuff, thanks for posting!

  • Does anyone know what technique is being used to record the lead singer's vocals? He has a great voice but it sounds like he's singing down an empty hallway. It's not an echo but it has an airy sound to it. There are other psychedelic bands that make their voices sound this way too. It has an ethereal and atmospheric sound. I like it.

  • thank great album

    can up song´s of Barracuda?

  • @ConfusedSponge Gandalf's version, you can only enjoy and get the song when you're stoned or high or both ; -)

  • Great Society's version's much better!
