This sons disenfranchisement is a dime a dozen in many young people today. This is where the rapper kid, the emo kid, the goth kid... on and on comes from. Hell, I was one of these kids - I straddled between punk and hippy in my teens and 20's. We all want the same thing - a purpose and something honorable to believe in.
