  • @4everUSNavy

it still is a swiss brand and a big part of them is made in switzerland

im swiss and own a sig 556 because im in the swiss army at the moment. and also swiss civilians can purchase rifles we are a gun loving country too. even 15 jear old children are allowed to shoot the sig sauer once a year at a big shooting contest (its called knaben schiessen)

  • @123456789Anarchy nope sig556 are made for US civilian use. They are in fact made in the US. as a country with a love of guns. many Foreign gun companies Like Sig, HK, FN Herstal and Glock have plants hear in the US

  • .....made in the USA???

    its swiss made!!!!

  • The Sig 556 is a decent rifle, but if you are a lefty like myself, this is not the rifle for you, especially because of the where the hinge is located for the models with the folding stock, it will interfere with your thumb, and the location of the charging handle, which is exceedingly AK-ish.

  • I won't hesitate to say that I am a new-comer to the AR world. So please excuse me if my questions sound stupid. I am very interested in buying the SIG-556. However, I'm a bit confused because I see what appears to be two versions of it. There's the non-SWAT version shown in this video, which is the one I want to buy. But, there's also the other one that has the folding butt-stock. How do I properly distinguish between the two SIG-556's? How would I tell a vendor what one I want?

  • @clarkscoolskool Dont get too worked up on uneducated idiots. Sadly this country is filled with them.

  • @TheMango121 yeah it weighs a little more, but it still has its place. is shoots awesome, so for some that weight is fine. there are allot of very heavy ar's though. some people like the weighs, kinda like a heavy 686 aint such a bad idea if youre shooting .357

  • @2gs900 all the military weapons you have mentioned are fully automatic to all branches of military. The SAW is fully automatic, soldiers are trained and taught to burst their shots because of over heating barrels, and bullet spread. M240B is fully automatic, I shot it myself and ate through a whole half of a belt of ammo with one trigger pull.

  • @2gs900 SAW is fully automatic, don't know what 6 round burst version you are referring to. They often fire in burst because that's how they keep their (there=location, their=possessive, they're= they are, in case you didn't know) barrel from overheating. M4's are select fire, full-auto and semi-auto. M16a4's are semi-auto and three round burst. Taking five minutes to educate yourself on something as simple as wikipedia really doesn't take that much effort and saves you from looking stupid.

  • Gun is way too heavy.

If you get one of these with the swat rails the weigh about 8.5 to 9 lbs. Without optics!

    Ar-15 >Sig 556
