Why it is important to keep the awareness of centre versus periphery. The pinpoint at the centre of your visual field is viewed by a point at the centre of your retina. The brain directs the eyeball to scan around so that it can build up a sharper image. It needs awareness of the periphery, and of movement through the periphery, to do this efficiently.

  • AWESOME! thanks for the tips! and, does massaging the back of your neck help? or is it fake? i heard two veins or something for eyes rund down the back of your neck, so i tried massaging them like a website says, but im not sure if it is real of not. does massaging the little area behind your ear flap help too??

  • @akamaruanimefan I'm not a massage specialist but as I understand it you don't massage veins, you massage muscles, and neck muscles certainly do get tense and that does affect eyesight. So yes, massage neck muscles. Also you can slowly stretch neck muscles by turning and tipping your head, slowly, like a warm-up exercise.
