You are all wrong. Mongols and Tatars were totally different nations. Tatars were beaten by Chengis Khan (Mongols) but they were very powerfull so they became a part of Chengis Khan Empire and then they were fighting as one. At the end of the empire it was devided into many different Ords and The one Tatars were mostly in two Golden Ord and White Ord in West of Asia. They were also totally different phisically. Mongols are typical yellow race.
