It amazes me the comparisons that are always drawn to long lost sopranos. The sadness is that there are so few sopranos now that even come close to this performance, and yet we pick it apart. Caballe is a treasure, and there is value in all these notes (same for Callas and Tebaldi!!) BRAVA DIVAS!!!!

She sounds a bit "kitsch" sometimes, but Montserrat's a great artist making a unusual way of interpretating a role that mostly would want to listen somehow different.

But anyway I like it. Kill me =)

I always think that be open to art, for artist like her and many other great singers, if they can be famous, they must have some qualities in their singing or acting etc that make them special and stand out.

Honestly, I dare not to make any comment to any of them unless I can sing better, act better, have huge range of repertoire, musical sense etc etc than them. But even if i make it, i should always praise others to encourage them to move up!
