@MyGwendel Sometimes it's easier to commit suicide than to overcome life's hardships and pains. Some have no intention of owning up to past mistakes and wrongs or battling temptations in the head so they decide to take their own lives. God gave them life and they must give account to the Righteous Judge on what they did with the life He gave them.

@MyGwendel This is true for sure...so sad when a young and promising life is extinguished thus.
-
@R0773N why does everyone assume she planned to drink it all at once? She told her teachers she'd be gone a whole week. Maybe she intended it to last the whole week.
-
@turockandar I didn't get the impression that her father was dishonest, but she definitely was under enormous pressure to be perfect, that much is obvious. People who need to be perfect often shatter at the thought of anyone finding out they've made a mistake.

@jnr8877 lol, people who call suicide the 'easy' way out crack me up. If you think it's 'easy' for the people who make that decision, you really have your head up your ass.
-
People who spend alot of effort building an image of themselves as perfect usually won't confide in friends and family when they make a mistake, they can't stand the thought of not being seen as perfect. RIP.

'a death in the family'--she probably got pregnant by someone other than her boyfriend and was too ashamed to have a legal abortion and tarnish her 'perfect girl' image, went to a secluded area for an illegal abortion, died, and whoever was trying to help her crashed the car and dumped her body so they wouldn't get in trouble. she probably bought all the booze to last her the entire week while she expected to be recovering from her abortion. just guessing.
-
Or maybe someone was blackmailing her...
-
Maybe she sustained a head injury in the initial first crash which, though outwardly invisible, caused her to start behaving differently/erratically?

@Berialavrenti Great point. Never thought of it that way.

@27maui No, her father is telling the truth. He is distraught. No way this man had anything to do with her going missing.
