I shot this from my digital camera. It was pretty dusty after it broke up and then a big group of thunderstorms hit with hail and snow.

The tornado's parent thunderstorm often produces large hail due to the strong wind updrafts in the cloud. It can produce a lot of hail over the local area that covers the ground like snow.

Big Steve, the cold front behind the tornado arrived & cooled the air aloft,causing it to fall rapidly & produce that wind.
