Cutting household water usage involves never over-watering the lawn, trying to plant drought tolerant plants in the yard, taking shorter showers and washing clothes in full loads. Conserve water at home, only using the water absolutely necessary for day-to-day activities, with helpful information from an avid environmentalist in this free video on environmental health.

  • Lawns are completely worthless and a huge waste of time and money and water. Everyone should turn their lawns into gardens and grow food. That is useful to humanity.

  • Here are some good suggestions that weren't mentioned...

    1. Take 5-10 min. showers (Or less) Don't sit under the water

    2. Turn the water off when you brush your teeth (Don't leave it running for 2 min)

    3. Don't leave your sink running if you are washing dishes.... turn it on and off for each dish

Some random stuff but hope it helps!

  • @Darkspirith No I live in a hole.. :D With internet connection.

  • @alMinTaGaming Smartass, it doesn't rain every single day. It can go weeks before it rains, in that time your grass can die because of the hot weather so it's required to water it. Go back to your gaming, kid.

  • @Darkspirith You never lived where it rained before?

  • @FlippyCatFanMan Have you never lived in a house before?

  • Its funny how we "waste" soo much water on our plants for DECORATION.

  • Everyone should watch the video titled: "the most important video you'll ever see" to understand why conservation is worthless.

  • @silentpounce Derp.
