@tudormarcu1 PC is better but I'd rather have a set system, without worrying about having to upgrade every year, plus... achievements are nice.

I have a pentium D 3.0 and have just ordered a 8800GTS at 640mb can i run this at medium settings at 1440x900
what is the resoulution,and can this specs run Oblivion well with max settings at 1440*900???

It should play ok at high settings. Pentium D is a good cpu.2gb ram is enough and graphics card is fine.

my friend i have pentiumd at 3.4 same as you!and i get low fps in crysis company of heroes ... the pentiumd bottleneck my 8800gts!
what do you think?

Only Thing i can think of is just upgrade the cpu, i had no bottleneck with my pentium d , but i have replaced my cpu with a quad core before i played crysis. only downside with a pc is you have to upgrade components all the time. hope this helps.
