I think it was in the low 30's or upper 20's that day & the truck needed to be started. Filmed on 2/3/08.

  • It started for you because your boots did a better job on the gas pedal.

  • @auaiao9 It fired up because Grandpa had to pour a couple drops of gas in the carb because the old fuel pump was getting tired.

  • i just started mine this morning the temp is very cold and i didnt even have this kind of trouble. i dont think you have the pumping figured out on this thing before i turned the key i pumped it 8 times. either that or your carb needs to be adjusted

  • I got the same truck just bought it. It has a 350 though all original runs great. i love old trucks they are certainly built a hell of alot better and more sturdy than the new ones. so this is 35 years old i will bet money the 2012 cars wont run in 35 years all original
