I've heard you should put concealer on after foundation. Is there a correct step to this or is it just preference?

Great question. Bobbi recommends applying concealer under the eyes first to help cover any darkness + bright up. Then apply your foundation just up to (not over) your concealer. You’ll love how natural you look & the flawless finish you achieve.

I've heard so many contradictions about putting blush on the cheeks. I heard that it got started in the theater as a way of making you look older. I've also heard that you should smile when applying blush because once you stop smiling, your face drops, and so will your blush. IDK...

We’re here to clarify. Bobbi recommends using two shades of blush—one to offer a natural look & one to add a “pop” of color. Here are some application tips: smile & using the Blush Brush apply your natural shade to the apples of your cheeks & blend back towards your hairline (in a downward motion). Then apply your brighter shade of blush just to the apples of your cheeks. You’ll love the end results……fresh, clean & modern!

I usually put corrector/concealer first, but I've also heard to put concealer on after foundation. Not sure which to do first?

I don't know because while I am pretty light skinned. I don't feel like I'm pasty white or anything, but ALL yellow based face products show up WAY too yellow on my skin. I guess I'm a cool tone, but most people are yellow now I guess.

I really love bobbi brown makeup! Bobbi seems so down to earth despite her success I also love that she uses makeup to enhance natural beauty vs. using makeup to disguise a woman's natural beauty. Unfortunately, we women often focus on the few flaws we may have....I think taking good care of your skin is essential so that the only minimal makeup is needed and your true beauty shines through!!
