I e-mailed the principal in the late-90s or early-00s. I asked if it was the school they filmed Ferris Bueller's Day Off at. He was real cool about it. He was like, Yeah, it is, etc.; seemed real nice.

Maine South, East, Or West have nothin to do with the breakfast club ending football field scene sorry to break the news to you maine kids but Maine North was only used for the Movie Glenbrook north is the football field!

Yes jongib369 it is you that has to go back and do your homework!!!! The movie was indeed filmed at Main north In Des plaines IL, Which is Now the Illinois State Police headquarters and lottery building, But ! the football field is Glenbrook North High School Football Field, Which Is John Hughe's Alma Mater! Not Maine South!!!! You can Check Wikipedia and Google It!!!!!!!!!!

that's not the breakfast club football field...the movie was filmed in maine north but then the ending scene was the maine south football field...seems like you might have to reshoot this haha
