Funny Apple uses the no viruses on there ads. How can there be viruses on Macs if no one is making for them. Btw 90% of the world is running on Widows

@Xendmust really i like to differ you know how we say MAC'S are 100% virus free and then every one i can't get a virus... idk but if i where i hacker virus dude ect i would like to be that one person that made a virus that completely wipes out your hardrive and its in all the macs... there people making virus for makes every day sadly they fail becasue apple makes software thats above and beyond our time and windows dosent so good look if you get a virus and deletes all of your things

Linux is a great OS, for programs that are made to run on it. If you want to play a game, forget about it. Many games aren't made with Linux binaries, sadly. Why? Though there is large popular demand for Linux binaries, only about 10% of the world uses it. Adding Linux binaries would cause you to do a hell of a lot of extra testing and work so you can make just 10% more profit.

Let me ask you this, have you ever had a real virus on a Vista or 7 machine? (without turning off the UAC).

I've been running vista and now 7 for a couple years and I haven't had a single virus or spyware issue. Even when my wife clicked on the IM virus worm it completely disappeared once the PC was rebooted, because it wasn't able to write anything to the registry. The only thing it was able to do was start up a process.

@Xendmust There are Mac viruses, just try googling it. Also, I'm in IT and Vista/7 has almost eliminated the majority of all viruses. The security is rock solid. The biggest flaw at the moment is your flash player, there are so many freaking holes in it that it isn't even funny.
