Filmagem de 39 min produzida em 1922 pelo jornalista e cinegrafista Alberto Botelho (1885-1973), mostrando vários aspectos da exploração econômica da Companhia Lumber (ou S. B. L. and C. C.), uma empresa madeireira e colonizadora que atuou de 1910 até a década de 1950 no atual planalto norte catarinense e campos gerais do Paraná. Em Três Barras (SC), a Lumber construiu em 1911 uma serraria com avançada tecnologia para a época e que foi por muitos anos a maior serraria da América do Sul e do país. As imagens da filmagem são referentes a serraria de Três Barras e a exploração das florestas no seu entorno.
A filmagem originalmente não tem som, a música foi adicionada ao vídeo.
Filming of 39 minutes made in 1922 by Brazilian journalist and videographer Alberto Botelho (1885-1973), showing various aspects of economic exploitation of the Lumber Company (or S.B.L. and C.C.), a timber and colonizer company who existed from 1910 until the 1950s in plateaus of the state of Santa Catarina and Paraná (Brazil). In Três Barras (Santa Catarina), the Lumber Company built in 1911 a huge sawmill with an advanced technology for the season and that was for many years the largest sawmill in South America and the country. The images refer to the Três Barras sawmill and the exploitation of the araucaria forests in their surroundings.
The film originally has no sound, the song was added to the video.
