  • 60Otaku3...I have no idea how you decided I did not like this song. You are wrong! If I gave you that impression, I apologize. I will continue to return to listen to it from time to time.

  • I am sorry, KLOU1580-san...

I seem to have misunderstood a meaning of your comment.

I apologize because it is I who was in the wrong.

    Otaku3 (=_=;)

  • LOL...a boy in my 3rd grade class brought this 45 to school on Show and Tell day! That was in the late-70s (78-79), so the record was a few years old by that time. Thank you for sharing this!

  • You're welcome, brooke050870-san!!

  • Cool song, didn't the Ramones cover this?

  • According to Wikipedia, they seem to have covered this song in 1983.

  • If someone put out a cover like that today, they'd be ripped to pieces.

  • @zapple100 Yeah, they are, but their very collectible pieces. I have `em both. In fact, I've got 2 copies of "Two Virgins" and I got `em both a few years ago for $15.00 @! In a way, it's a good thing I took both copies, because one is pressed slightly off-center on side one and the other on side two! So, between the two of them, I have at least one good copy. I've also got a Harry Nilsson / Ringo Starr soundtrack album on Rapple. It's from the movie they did together called, "Son Of Dracula".

  • @RedVynil No. They're too weird for me.

  • On this date in 1969 {Jan. 25th} 'Indian Giver' entered the Billboard's Top 100 chart, eventually it peaked at No. 5 and spent a total of 13 weeks in the Top 100.

  • @IndisputableAttitude Okay, gotcha. I dood a booboo. I just checked "The Great Rock Dicography" and it DOES have that song by The Sweet on their, "Off The Record", album from March `77. And, they actually started recording July `68! I never heard of them until "Little Willy" came out in the early `70's.

  • @RedVynil Two different songs with very similar titles. Check out the Sweet version. It's one of my faves.

  • @RedVynil Okay, point taken. Thanks.

  • @RedVynil Good points. You didn't finish the 3rd point, though.
