  • This woman is so fucking stupid... I can't even believe it...

  • FEAR OF DEATH. That loony woman on the phone explained to everyone here, why religion IS NEEDED FOR LOONS. They fear death. They're certainly weak-minded. As for the rest of the 99 percent of the human population, reason and science answer the questions. Why do I have to be moral and good? Because, just like all animal societies, you have to get along to survive. Have a family. Raise that family. And get along. It's always been that simple. Unlike that pathetic-loon you had on the phone.

  • @KuhoinX

Have you heard the theory that Jesus was actually traveling in india between the ages of 12 and 30 where he was exposed to Buddhism.

I don't buy it personally, but it had occurred before to me there were some resemblances in what was ascribed to Jesus and Buddhist teachings. love they neighbor, turn the other cheek etc

It's certainly very different from what had gone before in the old testament and probably helped widen it's appeal.

  • Christianity's easy forgiveness property is probably why it is still so appealing even without crusades and missionaries.

  • @KuhoinX Ok thanks I didn't know about those. I thought I read that Buddism is like learning from nature and spirit to become enlighted. But I think you should just treat others the way you would want to be treated and have empathy for people.

  • @cowtowngrl I think so, Buddhism should be the most wide spread religion in Asia, though in China we also have Taoism, in Japan Shinto, in India Hinduism, etc. imo Buddhism is more reasonable than Christianity as it at least emphasizes the importance of deeds not just faith. Good deeds lead to better next life and bad deeds can even make you reborn into animals, so called karma.

  • @KuhoinX is Buddism(sp?) one of the main religions in Asia? I am agnostic and against religion cuz it just causes division among people but I think Asia is lucky that they do not really have a prevalent mass of christianity, islamic, etc. Because Buddism(sp?) seems to be the most decent & maybe logical religion out there. But I have only read a brief overview of what Buddism is.

  • @KuhoinX hey hey hey bro! you guys eat live alcoholic scorpions! you guys even eat cobra!! you eat everything over there! :>

  • Towards the end she sorts of sound like Chris the Hacker.

  • I was waiting for her to say: "I know god is good because god says so". I think she knew she had to say that, realised how stupid that would sound and avoided it by talking about her own experience. Fucking hypocrite

  • HOLY SHIT. I am so fucking glad I am an Atheist.

  • @greenlanded btw, the rise of Gengis Khan was around the third Crusade in Europe and Song dynasty in China. That is more than 1000 years after the time in my argument. At this time Europeans were certainly not barbarians. When I said Europeans were barbarians, I referred to the Germanic tribes or Gaule tribes and Britannia tribes during the rise of Roman Empire (so this is before Roman Empire controlled most of Europe).
