In the summer of 1989 we travelled on the 10.25in gauge Ferry Meadows Railroad situated alongside the River Nene near Peterborough and the Nene Valley Railway. 4-6-2 HENRY was in service that day. www.railwaybook.com

  • yes thats right, the train they use now does have a diesel kubota engine i've seen it. they don't use the steam one any more becaue its easier to just turn a key and go.

  • the engine is still there belive it or not, i saw it in the shed, when they were putting the diesel away

  • it was a nice steam engine but now its been replaced with a train that looks like a steam train with a kubota diesel engine. still good for kids but real steam is fantastic.good video

  • dam i ain't seen that engine run in years it was a good engine as was the other stemers there atleast i think i can remember some other steamers there great video by the way
