For "The 9th Northwest Biennial" at Tacoma Art Museum, on view January 31 - May 25, 2009, Portland-based artist Stephanie Robison created a site-specific installation entitled "Wrecking Ball Cloud." The piece was created using fabric, thread, wood, and paint.

Robison spent two days with her crew incorporating "Wrecking Ball Cloud" onto Richard Rhodes "Untitled," the permanent stone wave located in the interior courtyard of Tacoma Art Museum. In this interview, Robison shares her process and views on the role of Northwest art.
