Rush - La Villa Strangiato at Pinkpop 1979

I was 19 at that time and saw that performance, it was my first Rush concert.

This was the last performance of the European tour in 1979.
Alex Lefeson hurt his finger because he had a very wild night with his wife,
his finger came between the mattress and the bed.

I love this song and the guitar solos that speak like that! WOW!! Amazing stuff. RUSH is one of the best band ever. And I've seen a lot of my favorite bands live in concert, but I've never could see RUSH in concert. I certainly MUST see them in a near future. What a band!!

When I was 15 (1976) I saw RUSH twice during their 2112 tour. Had a sucky job...couldn't get away that much. But, as luck would have it, for '77 when I was 16 (they were still on their 2112 tour, and their F.T.K. tour as well)...I saw them 8 times. Back then, they just went back and forth across the states 4 or 5 times every 2 months with Nugent, Aerosmith, UFO. Tickets were only $8 or $10!! It was THE best time to be 16!!! You have got to go see them in concert, dude!!! Many times....
