Six minutes of the history of human

A short peak into history of human. What have we done? What will we leave behind?

All the pictures are real, apart from four paintings included in the video. The very first picture of the video is a painting called Pollice Verso by Jean Leon Gerome.
Unfortunately I do not know the names of the other three paintings, however, I do know that they are inspired by crusades and crusaders.

And some details for those who do not know history too well:
The three persons shaking hands at 5:00 are Churchill, Truman and Stalin. Churchill was the Prime Minister of Great Britain during WW II and Truman the president of USA during the end of the war. Stalin on the other hand was the leader of the Soviet Union and responsible for the death of as many as 9 million people.

The mushroom cloud at 5:41 was caused by the A-bomb dropped in Nagasaki, which instantly lead to the death of 70 000 people. Today USA and Russia are estimated to have about 27 000 nuclear weapons.

At 3:40 one can see the results of the terrorist attacks on 9.11. The man who is held responsible for those acts of terror, Osama Bin Laden, war originally founded and trained by US forces during 80s.

I only see here the darkest times of Mankind. Where are the brave portuguese and spanish discoverys of the 15th and 16th centuries? Where is the bright science of the 18th century? Where is the Cold War, where 30 million people were cowardly slaughtered but also, we expanded our horizons like never before and for the first time, Earth life was capable of reaching the skies? You can't say it's all bad. Because there are good people. There always were, there always will be.

These are just pics of war and evil humans like Hitler etc but there are an others things human has done in his history like go to moon or build great things like pyramids,parthenon etc..i know history of human is 70% of war but 30% is great achivmeants and u have to show and these to help us change our way of life.Nice vid.

The power of man is a full cycle ... unfortunately, we tend to let our pendulum swing there too often for too few good reasons. would like to add to my blog with other videos for humanity, earth, and homage reminder, awakening to our abilities and inactions. hope it is ok, because this is GREAT.
